Central Columbia's Grant Gronka, East Juniata's Will Orwig, Bloomsburg's Morgan Sohosky, and Loyalsock's Mia Patterson all won individual titles at day two of the District IV Golf Championships at Williamsport Country Club on Friday, October 5.
In the AA Boys match Gronka edged Wellsboro's Ben Barnett 146-147 for the win, Orwig shot a 169 to beat out Shikellamy's Brian Snyder (175), Sohosky ran away with the AA Girls crown with a combined 167, Lauren Marks of Montoursville was 2nd at 232, and Patterson shot a 217 to finish ahead of teammate Bree Free (246).
Northern Tioga's Austin Outman (157) and teammate Tanner Adriance (161) were 3rd and 4th in the AA Boys while Benton's Will Holdren, Danville's Luke Ciccarelli, and Northern Tioga's Tyler Vargeson all tied for 5th with a 169.
East Juniata's Tanner Barth (179) finished 3rd in the AAA Boys match followed by Selinsgrove's Carter Hane and EJ's Colby Breeding (188) tied for 4th, and Selinsgrove's Dylan DeFazio (193) in 6th.
In the AA Girls match Lewisburg's Ryleigh Faust finished 3rd (233), Towanda's Kourtney Dunn (235) was 4th, and Lewisburg's Ava Markunas (244) was 5th. In the AAA Girls match, East Juniata's Molly Diehl shot 251 along with Loyalsock's Alessia Antonacci to tie for 3rd.
