Halbfoerster Qualifies For State XC Championships

Lawrence Halbfoerster took 15th at the District IV, Class A boys' race to punch his ticket to states.

"I'm so happy," the sophomore said after running 18:24.

Canton was seventh as a team with 188 places.

Landon Lake (20:37) took 37th, Hunter Huffman (21:02) was 41st, Brayden Vroman (22:33) came in 51st, and Joshua Hess (23:49) was 57th.

Canton's lone girl in the Class A race, Daveian Crowley (28:57) was 42nd.

The PIAA Championships are on November 4th.
