ATHENS - Junior Brendan Cooke and sophomore Treyton Barrett each won weight-class titles here Saturday at the annual Jarvis Memorial Wrestling Tournament, while four of their teammates were runners-up.

MILL HALL, Pa. - Athens struggled from the field at the the halftime break, and Central Martinsburg used a 13-3 third-quarter run to blow open a tie game en route to a 40-24 win here Saturday in the consolation game of the Central Mountain Girls Basketball Tip-Off Tournament.

BLOOMSBURG - Junior Eli Hicks earned Athens' lone win, and junior Brayden Pettitt posted four top-three finishes to lead the Wildcats to a third-place finish in the boys portion of the Bluejay First Chance Invitational, while the Athens girls finished fifth in the team standings.

The Wellsboro Girls Wrestling team opened their season at the Jarvis Tournament in Athens on Saturday, coming home with a 4th place finish.
