Troy Comes Up Short At Muncy

MUNCY - Troy rallied in the second half but came up short against Muncy, 6-2, during non-league boys soccer action Monday.

It was 3-0 at the half, with the Trojans scoring both goals in the second half, but they couldn't keep the Indians out of the net.

Landon Lee and Ethan Hoffman had the two Troy goals, with Logan Strope adding an assist.

Kix Carr made 16 saves in net as Muncy out shot them 24-19. Troy had a 3-2 edge in corner kicks.

Ganno Swank had five goals to lead the Indians.

Troy (0-2) heads out west to Wellsboro on Tuesday.
