Hornets Drop Third Straight

The Wellsboro Hornets opened the second half of the 2010 NTL season by falling to the Wyalusing Rams, 41-6. Wyalusing controlled the majority of the game jumping out to a 28-0 halftime lead. Junior Thomas Johnston broke the shutout in the final minutes as he punched the ball in from four yards out.
With the loss, the Hornets fall to 1-5 overall and remain at 1-1 in the NTL Large School Standings. The Hornets will be in action next week as they travel to Williamsport to take on the Loyalsock Lancers. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
