Mansfield beats Wellsboro in 5

The Mansfield Tigers beat Wellsboro in 5 games Tuesday night. Mansfield won the first game 18-25 before Wellsboro bounced back to take games two and three 25-20, and 25-18. Mansfield then went on to take games four and five 18-25, and 12-15. Junior Hannah Zuchowski led the Hornets in kills (25) and digs (15). Senior Marissa Cornell added 3 aces and 8 service points, while Junior Mackenzie Marple added 25 assists. With the loss, falls to 4-4 on the year.
In JV action, Wellsboro beats Mansfield 25-19 and 25-22 to remain undefeated. The Hornets will be back in action Thursday, September 29, as they host Cowanesque. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m.
