Brooks headlines football All-Stars

Junior Running Back Jermain Brooks was selected to the NTL Large School All-Star 1st team in his first year with the Hornets.

Brooks led the Hornets in 2012 in rushing attempts (130), yeards (675), and touchdowns (5), and also led the team with 1,017 all-purpose yards. In addition to these season numbers, Brooks also landed himself in the Wellsboro Football Records Books* with his 40 carries against rival North Penn in the final game of the season and returning a punt for a touchdown against Columbia Montour Vo-Tech.

In addition to Brooks' 1st team selection, Wellsboro also had several players nominated for the 2nd team and honorable mention.
