Hornet volleyball falls to Troy

The Wellsboro Varsity volleyball team lost their first game of the year as they fell 3-0 tonight to Troy.
The Hornets played three very hard fought games, but wound up losing 23-25, 23-25, and 21-25. Senior Hannah Zuchowski had 24 kills, 5 points, and 19 digs to lead the Hornets. Senior Mackenzie Marple had 6 points and 16 assists, and Junior Kaelyn Keane had 4 kills and 6 blocks.
With the loss, the Hornets fall to 3-1 (2-0 NTL West). The team will be back in action on Tuesday, September 18 as they host Williamson.
