Hornets now 8-0

Wellsboro improves their overall record to 8-0 and league record to 4-0 with a 58-42 victory over the visiting Cowanesque Valley Indians. The Hornets were lead by Joey Doganiero’s 13 points; Dylan Prough’s 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals; and Jordan Jackson’s 9 points and 4 assists. It was another team defensive effort that allowed the Hornets to be victorious.
In JV action, the Hornets won 29-15 to improve their record to 4-4. Freshman Kieron Smethers led the Hornets with 10 points on the night. The team will be back in action on Thursday, January 12 as they host Mansfield.
