Zuchowski led rebounding with 6 and Rogers hauled in 5; Marple led assists with 6.
"It was good to see the girls pull it together," said coach Mary Grab. "They played hard defense and were pretty exhausted by the end of the night. Mackenzie Marple found her stride shooting-wise; I was glad for her. Mansfield has some real talent, players with a lot of heart, and great shooters," said Grab. "Overall, I thought it was a well-played game between rival schools."
In JV action, poor shooting led to Wellsboro's loss to Mansfield by a score of 28-12. Jordan Butters led scorers with 7 points, Camilla Sossi led rebounding with 4. The team will be back in action on Tuesday, February 14, as they travel to Liberty.
