MS XC competes with Towanda and Athens

The Wellsboro Middle School cross country team had their first home meet of the 2012 season last night.
The boys team beat Athens 17-0 and Towanda 18-0. The girls team lost to Athens 22-32, but beat Towanda 19-0. 8th grader Nathan Cotner finished first overall with a time of 11:35. 7th grader Anna Bleggi was the top girls finisher with a time of 13:35.
The teams will be back in action on Tuesday, October 1 as they square off against Troy and Northeast Bradford.
