Three members of the Wellsboro golf team advanced to the second day of District golf in Williamsport.
Juniors Zach Bower and Dillian King and Sophomore Brett Kendrick all advanced to the second day of the tournament after a good opening round on Thursday. Bower shot an 89, Kendrick shot an 88, and King shot an 84 to lead the Hornets on the day.
Junior Blair Carson and Senior Josh Cooper also competed on Thursday, but not make the cut to move on to day two. Carson shot a 97 and Cooper finished with a 106.
