Hornet volleyball tops NEB

The Wellsboro Varsity volleyball team continued their undefeated season with a 3-0 win over Northeast Bradford Tuesday night.
The Lady Hornets cruised to a 25-3 win in the first game, won 25-10 in the second, and 25-9 to win the match.
Junior Peyton Wilson led the team with 20 points on the night. Senior Katie Straniere recorded 15 digs, Senior Kaelyn Keane had 6 kills, and Junior Paige Carr had 5 assists.
In the J.V. game, the Lady Hornets won 2-0.
With the win, the team improves to 3-0. The team will be back in action on Thursday, September 12 as they travel to Cowanesque Valley.
