JV basketball falls to Galeton

The Wellsboro JV basketball team was in action Monday night as they fell to Galeton on the road, 40-27.
"We struggled defensively tonight," said JV coach Chase Kriner. "We had a lot of open looks, but just couldn't get shots to fall for us."
Freshman Dawson Prough scored 17 points on the night to lead the team.
With the loss, the team falls to 12-6 on the year. The team will be back in action on Friday, February 8 as they travel to Williamson.
