MS volleyball defeats Athens in two games

The Wellsboro Middle School volleyball team kept their perfect season alive with a 2-0 (25-14, 25-14) win over Athens Tuesday night.
Grace Feil led the team with serves, having 14 land out of 15. Hailey Neal and Brianne Keane also served well, 12 for 12. Rachael Tuttle and Lizzy Poirier lead the team in spikes. Rachael had 7 spikes, 3 kills and Lizzy had 4 spikes and 2 kills.
Once again, the second string were able to get a lot of playing time.
In the B game, the Lady Hornets won 2-0 (25-10, 25-14).
With the win, the Lady Hornets improve to 7-0 before facing Williamson on Wednesday, October 7.
