The Wellsboro Varsity girls basketball team dropped their third straight game as they fell to North Penn in overtime, 63-59 Tuesday night.
North Penn's Meredith Kline tied the game with seven seconds left to force overtime and Britta Berguson scored eight of her game-high 20 points in overtime to helped the Panthers to the win.
Sophomore Sarah Ingerick led Wellsboro with 13 points and Sophomore Jada Jackson had 12, while Junior Jordan Butters had 11 and Sophomore Alexa Singer finished with 10 points.
Junior Peyton Wilson had eight, Sophomore Jenny Young had four, and Senior Brooke Kohler had one point to round out the scoring.
In the J.V. game, the Lady Hornets won 34-31 behind Young's 16 points.
With the loss, the Lady Hornets fall to 6-8 (1-1 NTL Division 1). The team will be back in action Friday, January 17 as they host Troy.
