Lady Hornets fall to Bloom in Districts

The Wellsboro Girls Tennis team fell to Bloomsburg 4-0 in the opening round of District IV playoffs on Thursday, October 15.
Singles Results
Molly Williams def. Shyann Foremann 6-1, 6-3
Lauren Cunfer def. Maddy Clemens 6-1, 6-0
Doubles Results
Wanroski/Karaffa def. Emily Starkweather/Faith Kennedy 6-0, 6-0
Polhill/Rostucher def. Olivia Ryan/Morgan Guthrie
The loss ends the team's season at 10-5 (3-3 NTL). Foreman, Clemens, Taylor Crawford, and Kennedy will be participating in the District IV Doubles tournament on Saturday, October 17 at Williamsport High School.
