Covert falls in District prelims

Senior Owen Covert lost his opening match in the District IV AA wrestling match on Friday, February 26.
Covert was pinned by Warrior Run's Hunter Bohannon in 1:06 and was deducted a team point. Wellsboro currently sits in 30th place with -1 points.
Covert will be back in action this morning as he takes on Line Mountain's Garrett Kieffer, the 285 lbs. #1 overall seed, who was upset by Loyalsock's Crae McCracken.
