Benton takes top spot at White Deer

The Benton Tigers took home the top spot at White Deer Country Club in Mid-Penn League golf action on Thursday, August 31.
Benton paced the field with a 342. Montgomery finished 2nd with 368, Sullivan County (431) was 3rd, and Sugar Valley (441) came home 4th.
Daryn Hess led the field with a round of 74, Montgomery's Mario Barberio (85) finished 2nd, Benton's Sarah Sorber (87) was 3rd, Montgomery's Mike Miller (88) was 4th, and Benton's Mike Mrythel rounded out the top 5 with a score of 90.
Benton is now 14-3, Montgomey is 8-7, Sullivan County is 3-14, and Sugar Valley is 0-10.
