Central Columbia won the Columbia County Classic while Central Mountain won a PHAC match on their home course on Monday, August 28.
The Bluejays shot a team score of 336 to take home the top spot at Mill Race Country Club. Benton (341) came home 2nd, Bloomsburg (347) was 3rd, Montgomery (356) was 4th, Berwick (398) was 5th, and Sullivan County (418) rounded out the field in 6th.
Central's Grant Gronka paced the field with a round of 71 followed by Bloomsburg's Morgan Suhosky at 78. Benton's Mike Sherrick (81), Montgomery's Mike Miller (82), and Benton's Daryn Hess (84) rounded out the top five.
Central Mountain shot a 342 to sweep PHAC golf at their home course of Clinton Country Club. Williamsport (362) was 2nd, Shikellamy (371) was 3rd, Selinsgrove (378) was 4th, and Loyalsock (395) was 5th.
Central Mountain's Matt Storeman took home the top spot with a 76 with teammate Tyler Adair finishing close behind with an 83. Selinsgrove's Roman Reeder shot an 84 to finish 3rd, Williamsport's Wyatt Chestnut (86) was 4th, and Loyalsock's Mitchell Klingerman (87) was 5th.
