The Athens Lady Wildcats scored 19 goals on Wyalusing on Wednesday, September 20 as two Lady Wildcats scored their 50th career goals.
Morgan Ferguson and Rachel Hutchison each scored their 50th career goals. Ferguson scored 4 throughout the course of the game while Hutchison scored a hat trick to reach the milestone.
Emily Lunger also added a hat trick and assisted on 3 goals. Emma Adams, Abby Segar, and Abby Sindoni scored 2 goals each while Breana Gambrell and Krysta Manning added goals.
The Green Hornets scored two second half goals with under 15 minutes remaining to beat the rival Lady Tigers. Kerrah Clymer and Kailee Clymer both scored for Wellsboro off assists from Emma Poirier.
Wellsboro outshot Mansfield 20-9 and had a 9-4 advantage in corner kicks. Sydney Tremper recorded 8 saves in goal for Wellsboro to earn the shutout. McKee stopped 13 shots for North Penn-Mansfield.
Benton's Brynne Hess scored two goals and Taylor Hughes pitched in with another to shutout Sullivan County on Tuesday.
EJ scored 6 first half goals en route to their win Wednesday. Hailey Swartz started things off at 1:50 off an assist by Paige Crissman. Thea Neimond scored not even a minute later as Carly Beaver assisted. Maddison Coudriet increased EJ's lead to 3-0 in the 22nd minute as Neimond assisted then Belle Ebright scored with help from Allyson Buckley at 24:50 to make it 4-0.
Buckley then scored unassisted in the 29th minute before Coudriet scored her second goal of the game with 7 minutes remaining in the half. EJ's final two goals were scored by Amara Brubaker and Briana Henry with Brubaker assisting on Henry's goal.
EJ took 17 shots on goal and held LCD without a shot attempt. Each team had 1 corner kick each.
"Our passing is improving day after day," said EJ coach Valeria Dressler. "We need to still work on our mental focus. Overall the girls did well."
Riley McClellan scored a hat trick as the Lady Trojans shutout NEB. Morgan Graybil (2), Madison McClelland, and Nicole McClellan added the remaining goals.
Kiah Russell made 14 saves in goal for NEB.
Madi Lee scored two goals for Williamson but the Lady Warriors fell to Towanda on Wednesday afternoon. Teagan Willey scored 2 goals for Towanda while Saige Greenland and Shay Chandler each scored.
