The Wellsboro Boys Tennis team suffered a 5-2 opening match defeat to Galeton on Monday, March 27.

"Galeton is very strong again this year," said head coach Margery Hoffman. "Our players played well in the longer points but fell short on serves and service returns. It's something we have been working on and will continue through the season."
The Hornets (0-1) will be back in action on Wednesday, March 29 at Towanda.
