Hughesville claims D4 girls tennis championship

The Hughesville Lady Spartans claimed the 2017 PIAA District IV Class AA girls tennis team championship on Tuesday, October 17.
Hughesville started the afternoon off by edging Loyalsock 3-2 in the semi-finals at Muncy High School. Hughesville met Jersey Shore, 3-0 winners over Montgomery at Hughesville, at Muncy in a 3:30 p.m. showdown with the Lady Spartans coming up with the 3-0 sweep.
