The North Penn-Liberty Mounties swept Wyalusing to wrap up the NTL Large School Division championship on Thursday, October 19.
Liberty took the first set 25-6 then won sets two and three 25-11 and 25-12. Through 17 games, the Lady Mounties have only dropped three sets.
Brooke Harvey led the team with 2 aces, 22 points, 7 kills, 6 receptions, 1 block and 14 digs; JoAnne McNamara led the offense with 2 aces, 8 points, 1 kill, 15 assists and 4 digs; Charisma Grega had 12 kills, 6 receptions and 10 digs; Mariah Kshir added 1 ace, 6 points, 5 kills, 2 blocks, 7 assists and 5 digs.
Maddison Minyo led at the net with 3 aces, 9 points, 6 kills, 3 blocks, 2 assists and 3 digs and Savannah Doney led the defense with 3 aces, 10 points, 1 kill, 18 receptions, and 11 digs.
Liberty (17-0, 14-0 NTL Large School Division) travels to Horseheads on Saturday, October 21.
