Northern Tier League volleyball teams competed in cross-over games on Thursday, September 28.
Liberty cruised to a first set 25-3 win and won sets two and three 25-17 to improve to 11-0 on Thursday.
Brooke Harvey led the Lady Mounties with 4 aces, 28 points, 10 kills, 4 receptions, 1 block and 2 digs; Charisma Grega also led with 5 aces, 12 points, 14 kills, 3 receptions, 1 assist and 10 digs. Maddison Minyo had 2 aces, 5 points, 4 kills, 4 blocks and 2 digs; Mariah Kshir had 25 assists, 1 kill, 1 point and 3 digs; Savannah Doney recorded 1 ace, 3 points, 1 kill, 13 receptions and 9 digs; Allison Koval had 9 digs and Haley Monks added 2 kills, 1 assist and 1 dig.
The Lady Hornets took the first set 25-14 and held on to win the second 25-23 before cruising 25-10 in the third set to take the game.
Brianne Keane led Wellsboro with 20 assists, 14 points, and 3 aces; Heidi Zuchowski had 12 points and 4 aces; Cheyenne Sherman had 8 kills and 8 digs; and Caitlyn Callahan had 5 kills and 2 blocks. Jillian Graver recorded 5 kills, Megan Starkweather had 6 kills, and Ryann Adams added 12 digs.
Alia Post led Sayre with 9 digs, 6 kills, and 7 points. Lexi Post recorded 5 digs, 1 kill, and 18 assists.
Wellsboro's JV team also won their game 2-0 (25-14, 25-22) to improve to 10-1.
The Lady Rams rebounded following their first loss of the year earlier in the week to sweep CV on Thursday.
Melody Kneller recorded 18 kills, Makayla Voda had 10 kills, Lylah had Oswald 7 kills, Karlye Huffman made 36 assists, and Kristie Epler had 17 digs.
