The Milton girls tennis and Central Mountain golf teams picked up wins on Thursday, August 24.
Singles
Lauren Shearer (L) def. Haley Seebold 6-0, 6-0
Rachel Boop (M) def. Caroline Sigl 6-4, 6-4
Olivia Eisenhauer (M) def. Lexi Markunas 7-5, 6-2
Doubles
Chloe Perrin/Emily Snyder (M) def. Maria Cooper/Erin Hilkert 6-2, 6-2
Mekayla Schrock/Hanna Seebold (M) def. Hallie Keiser/Hannah Castellan 6-0, 6-1
Lewisburg (1-2) hosts Hughesville at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 26.
Central Mountain swept the field on their home course Thursday. The Wildcats shot a 333 team score on the afternoon ahead of Benton (347), Montgomery (416), Sullivan County (447), and Sugar Valley (475). Wildcat Tyler Adair and Benton's Daryn Hess both shot rounds of 78 to lead the field and the Wildcat's Matt Storeman (79) trailed by a stroke for a third place overall finish.
Montgomery's Mike Miller (83), Central Mountain's Logan Fisher (86), and Benton's Mike Sherrick (86) rounded out the top five.
Benton moves to 7-2, Montgomery improves to 4-3, Sullivan County is 2-7, and Sugar Valley is 0-7.
