Muncy tops Milton in field hockey

Muncy topped Milton 5-1 in non-league field hockey on Monday, September 11.
The Indians scored three first period goals, started by Lily Moyer at 27:47. Kassidi Lenhart scored under a minute later to make it 2-0 and Amber Temple scored with 17:32 remaining to make it 3-0.
Temple scored her second goal of the game with 25:40 remaining in the second period off a Moyer assist before Alyssa Schell scored to make it 5-0.
Milton's Cora Sandrick, assisted by Alicia McElwee, scored with 13:38 left on the clock to avoid the shutout.
Milton's Larissa Shearer had 13 saves and Muncy had 2 saves.
Muncy also won the JV game, 2-0.
