Reeves, Evans win District Doubles crown

Montoursville's Maddy Reeves and Olivia Evans were crowned PIAA District IV Doubles champions on Monday, October 23.
Reeves and Evans took on Hughesville's Kendra Smith and Jade Cordrey winning 7-6, 6-1 to advance to the finals against Loyalsock 1. Loyalsock's team of Madison Savidge and Jenna Beiter defeated Montoursville's Karina Dangle and Lyida Barbour 6-4, 5-7, 7-5 in the other semi-final matchup.
In the finals, Reeves and Evans beat Savidge and Beiter 6-1, 6-1 to claim the crown.
