In their first game in over a week the Wellsboro Varsity Volleyball team swept Central Mountain on Saturday, October 6.
"We played well together tonight and we had a lot of fun doing it," said head coach Sharon Zuchowski.
The Lady Hornets cruised in all three sets winning 25-14, 25-15, and 25-10.
Junior Ryann Adams scored 14 points and had 10 digs, junior Caitlyn Callahan had 14 kills and 5 points, junior Megan Starkweather had 13 assists, 10 points, and 5 aces, and sophomore Shiloh Duff had 4 kills.
Sophomore Breighanna Kemp recorded 10 assists, sophomore Bailey Monks had 3 blocks, and senior Heidi Zuchowski had 2 blocks.
Central Mountain won the JV game 2-1 to drop Wellsboro to drop the Lady Hornets to 5-6. The team is back in action on Wednesday, October 10 at Williamsport.
