SELINSGROVE - The Selinsgrove took nearly an hour to break through against the Jersey Shore defense in a Pennsylvania Heartland Athletic Conference-Division I girls soccer matchup.
However, when the Seals offense finally broke through, it proved to be the end of the Bulldogs.
Selinsgrove - after being held scoreless until nearly halfway through the second half, scored three goals in a nine-minute span to snap a streak of back-to-back ties with a 3-0 over Jersey Shore.
Selinsgrove - the only team without a loss in Division I play - remain ahead of rival Shikellamy by one game in the loss column. Selinsgrove is now 7-2-2 overall, 6-0-2 PHAC-I.
Lillian Poust got the Seals on the board with 18:44 left in the game off an assist from Ella Magee. Haylee Nava made it 2-0 with 12:33 left in the game off an assist from Annalise Bond.
Magee scored the final goal with 9:33 left in the game on an assist from Kate Stover.
Alivia Ravy had two saves in the shutout for the Seals.
Selinsgrove led in shots (20-2).
