Lady Warriors fall to NEB

The Canton Varsity Girls Basketball team suffered a 50-22 loss to Northeast Bradford on Thursday, January 16.
Northeast jumped out to an early 20-4 lead after the 1st quarter, a lead the Lady Warriors were unable to recover from. The Lady Panthers led 34-13 at halftime and 42-17 after the 3rd quarter.
Elle Binford led Canton with 17 points on the evening. Aislyn Williams and Raeann Roupp had 2 points each and Reagan Kelley rounded out the scoring with a point. Molly Ward had 9 rebounds and 4 steals, Kelley and Roupp added 6 rebounds and 3 rebounds, respectively, and Binford added 3 rebounds to her point total.
The loss drops the Lady Warriors to 7-6 (4-4 NTL Small School Division). The team is back in action at Sayre later this evening at 5:30 p.m.
