Canton used a 6-run fifth inning to pull away from Troy for a 16-7 win in baseball action.
Weston Bellows (4-for-6), and Cooper Kitchen (4-for-4) both had strong days at the plate. Bellows had a triple, 5-RBI, and three runs scored, as Kitchen had a double with four runs, and an RBI.
Hudson Ward (3-for-4) scored three times, with Hayden Ward (3-for-5) knocking in two runs, as he crossed home three times as well.
Joel Schoonover (2-for-6) had a double, with 3-RBI, and a run scored, while Bailey Ferguson (1-for-5) scored a run, and had an RBI.
Cam Bellows (1-for-4) and Tyler Jannone each had a hit, with Evan Landis scoring a run, while knocking one in.
Hayden Ward started, and went five innings to get the win. He struck out five, with four walks, 11 hits, and seven earned runs.
Schoonover went the final two innings, striking out two.
