Hughesville rallies to beat Selinsgrove

SELINSGROVE — Alex Snyder scored 15 of her game-high 21 points in the second half as Hughesville rallied for a 40-38 HAC-crossover victory over Selinsgrove.

Cierra Adams scored 13 points, while Lexy Gabrielson added 10 points for the Seals (3-2).

Selinsgrove limited Hughesville to just four first-quarter points, but the Spartans outscored Selinsgrove 28-16 in the middle two quarters as Hughesville opened up a nine-point lead, heading to the final stanza.

Gabrielson and Veronica Stanford each hit 3-pointers, while Lizzy Diehl and Adams combined for nine points inside to help Selinsgrove rally in the fourth quarter.
