Lady Hornets fall to Loyalsock in regular season finale

The Wellsboro Varsity Girls Soccer team fell 3-0 to Loyalsock in their final game of the season on Saturday, October 23.
Loyalsock scored twice in the first half to lead 2-0 over the Lady Hornets, then added an insurance goal late in the second half for the win. The Lady Lancers out shot Wellsboro 18-10 and had a 4-0 advantage in corner kicks.
Freshman Annie Gehman made 14 saves in goal for Wellsboro.
The loss brings the Lady Hornets' season to a close with a record of 2-14 (2-9 NTL).
