The Wellsboro Varsity Girls Soccer team dropped a 2-0 early-morning game to Wyalusing on the road on Saturday, September 25.
The Lady Rams attempted 13 shots on the game, scored on two of them, and held the Lady Hornets to just 6 shot attempts over the 80-minute span. Their first goal came with 38:07 remaining in the first half from Layla Botts, then Wyalusing scored their second with just over three minutes remaining in the game by Olivia Spencer.
Senior Lilly Abadi made 10 saves in goal for Wellsboro.
There was no JV game.
The loss drops Wellsboro to 2-5 (2-3 NTL). The team is back in action on Monday, September 27 as they host Athens.
