SELINSGROVE — Selinsgrove got off to a quick start after its return from a COVID shutdown, but Lewisburg opened the third, and fourth quarters with big spurts to knock off the Seals, 45-39.
Lizzy Diehl had seven first-quarter points, including a drive for a three-point play that broke a 6-all tie. DeFazio followed with a drive for an 11-6 lead at quarter’s end.
Selinsgrove had a chance to rally, scoring six points in the final 1:40, but Lewisburg's Maddie Still, who finished 7-of-7 from the foul line, hit four straight foul shots in the final 30 seconds to seal the game.
Diehl led the Seals with 15 points for Selinsgrove (5-4 overall, 5-1 HAC-I).
