MILL HALL - Selinsgrove scored six runs in the sixth inning to rally for an 8-7 win over Central Mountain, and clinch the Heartland Athletic Conference-Division I title for rival Shikellamy.
Selinsgrove used three walks, an error, and bases-clearing triple from Teague Hoover - just Selinsgrove's second hit of the game, to take an 8-5 lead.
The Wildcats rallied with two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to cut the Seals' lead to 8-7. In the bottom of the seventh, the tying run to got second on an error, but Selinsgrove threw out a runner at third for the second out, and Tyler Swineford got a strikeout to end the game.
Selinsgrove will play on May 24 in the District 2/4 Class 5A subregional. Selinsgrove will travel to Wyoming Valley West.
