Big 6th inning leads Canton over Athens

Canton used a 5-run sixth inning to break open a 1-run game against Athens, ultimately winning 10-3 in NTL softball action.
Sara Saar (2-for-5) had two doubles with a run scored to lead Canton, as Emmi Ward (1-for-3), Taryn Acla (1-for-5), Keri Wesneski (1-for-4), Molly Ward (1-for-4), Madison Hulbert (1-for-4), Alexis Baldwin (1-for-3), and Rylin Graham (1-for-1) also had hits.
Emmi Ward, Baldwin, and Graham all scored twice, as Acla, Wesneski, and Molly Ward also found home.
Wesneski got the win in the circle, with four strikeouts, five hits, and no walks, while giving up three runs.
