The Wellsboro Cross Country teams fell to Cowanesque Valley and Northeast Bradford in an NTL tri-meet at Wellsboro on Tuesday, September 27.
Cowanesque Valley took home a pair of wins in the boys race, defeating Northeast Bradford 23-32 and Wellsboro 15-39. Northeast Bradford beat Wellsboro 15-50.
In the girls race Northeast Bradford won twice, beating Wellsboro 18-30 and CV 16-42. CV also beat Wellsboro 20-27.
Freshman Max Macias was the top finishers for the Hornets, finishing 16th in 22:02. Sophomore Chris Greenawalt was 19th in 22:38, freshman Henry Whitney (23:22) was 22nd, freshman Robbie Bowers (29:01) was 38th, and junior Tristan Lane (50:26) was 39th.
Senior Madeline Gage was 3rd overall for the Lady Hornets, running a time of 23:25. Senior Julia DeCamp (28:49) was 8th and sophomore Karah Blackwell (32:14) was 13th.
