Lady Hornets drop non-league game to Hughesville

The Wellsboro Girls Soccer teams dropped a pair of non-league games to Hughesville in their home opener on Saturday, September 3.
Hughesville held the Lady Hornets scoreless, scoring once in the first half and then adding three more in the second, to win 4-0.
Hughesville took 28 shots on goal. Sophomore Annie Gehman stopped 24 of those shots.
In the JV game, Hughesville won 8-0.
The loss drops the Lady Hornets to 1-1 (1-0 NTL). The team is back in action for another non-league contest at Port Allegany on Tuesday, September 6.
