Canton volleyball swept Athens during NTL action Tuesday, winning the sets 25-12, 25-13, and 25-21.
Keri Wesneski had eight points, eight kills, six digs, and three aces, Tara Gilbert notched 11 points, six aces, and a kill, with Madison Hurlbert getting 12 points, three aces, eight kills, and six digs.
Aislyn Williams had five points, 20 assists, seven digs, one kill, and two blocks for Canton, while Jillaney Hartford had 10 points, five kills, and four digs.
Kendall Kitchen chipped in with four kills and two digs, while Marissa Ostrander had five points, two kills, and five digs.
Canton lost the JV match 2-1. They won the first set 25-21, but fell in the next two 25-18 and 15-8.
Gilbert had four aces, five kills, and four digs, while Kitchen finished with two aces, two kills, seven digs, and five assists.
Addilyn Pepper had two kills, three digs, and four assists, Abbey Marbaker finished with an ace, two kills, six digs, and two assists, Charleigh Anderson had an ace, a kill, and three digs, while Allyson Marbaker had an ace, and a kill.
