Selinsgrove keeps pace in HAC-I race

SELINSGROVE — Cierra Adams scored 13 points to lead three Selinsgrove players in double figures, and the Seals defense limited Jersey Shore to just 13 field goals in a 53-34 Heartland Athletic Conference-Division I victory.

Alyssa Latsha chipped in 11 points and Haylee Nava added 10 points for Selinsgrove (14-4 overall, 12-2 HAC-I), which lost to Jersey Shore on Jan. 8.

The victory allows Selinsgrove to keep pace with Shamokin (12-2 HAC-I), a game in the win column behind Shikellamy (13-2 HAC-I). Both the Indians (Mifflinburg) and Braves (Lewisburg) won as well.

Payton Dincher scored nine points to lead the Bulldogs (10-7, 8-6).
