Williamson scored on a bouncing ball goal off a corner kick.

Wellsboro was held to just one shot on goal, attempted by junior Sara Seeling. Williamson took 15 shot attempts, 9 of them saved by sophomore Annie Gehman.

Williamson also had a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks.

In the JV game both teams played to a 1-1 draw. Williamson scored with 7:38 remaining in the first half, while the young Lady Hornets scored with 13:54 remaining in the game. Freshman Emily Benjamin scored the Wellsboro goal.

The loss drops the Lady Hornets to 5-6 (4-4 NTL) on the year. The girls are back on the field at Jersey Shore for a non-league game on Monday, October 3.
