Canton used four straight wins to break open a tight match in their 39-23 win over Towanda during NTL wrestling action.
Hayden Ward (139) opened things up with a 6-0 win over Towanda’s Riley Vanderpool, but a win for Towanda at 145 made it 3-3.
A Hudson Ward fall at 152 saw Canton take a 9-3 lead, but the Knights came back with a fall of their own to tie things up again.
A Towanda tech at 172 put the Knights up 14-9, but that was their only lead of the night.
A Riley Parker (189) fall started a 21-0 run for the Warriors. Michael Davis (215) followed with a pin, Mason Nelson (285) added a decision, and Lyle Vermilya (107) scored a fall to put them up 30-14.
Towanda got a forfeit at 114, but Cohen Landis (121) scored a fall to secure the win. Canton also got a decision at 127 from Carson Rockwell.
