The Wellsboro Swim Team traveled to Athens on Wednesday, January 18 to face off against NTL rivals Athens and Towanda.
The Hornets posted three district qualifying times on the evening, from junior Isobel Anderegg in the 100 Fly (1:12.50), Makenna Robbins in the 200 IM (2:34.87), and senior Hayne Webster in the 500 Free (5:42.21).
Anderegg also swam a 28.69 in the 50 Free, Robbins posted a 1:13.25 in the 100 Back, and Webster added a 2:06.82 in the 200 Free.
Freshman Kristina Belz swam a 32.54 in the 50 Free and 1:26.87 in the 100 Back, junior Madison Robbins posted a 2:35.25 in the 200 IM and a 6:18.54 in the 500 Free, and junior Caralyn Warner swam a 1:03.74 in the 100 Free and a 1:11.27 in the 100 Back.
The team is back in the pool on Monday, January 23 against Athens, Danville and Towanda at Towanda.
