The Wellsboro Varsity Girls Soccer team suffered a 5-1 loss to Williamson on Monday, September 11.
The Lady Warriors scored five first half goals, including a pair by Ruby Sherman, to secure the win.
Wellsboro, who was held to just one shot attempt in the second half, got on the scoreboard by senior Sara Seeling, assisted by junior Cassidy Mitchell.
Williamson took 17 shots on goal. Keepers Jadyn Dunlap and Annie Gehman shared time in net, making five saves each.
The loss drops the Lady Hornets to 1-4 (0-3 NTL). The team is back in action at home against rival North Penn-Mansfield on Wednesday. It is also Senior Night.
