Canton lost in three sets to Wellsboro during NTL volleyball action, though the final two sets were thrillers.
The Hornets took the first set 25-14, but then Canton pushed Wellsboro to the brink in the next two sets, as the Hornets won 29-27 and 25-23.
Addi Pepper had six points, an ace, a kill, 10 assists, and seven digs for Canton as Chelsea Lehman had four points, an ace, seven kills, eight digs, and a block.
Tara Gilbert had 15 points, eight aces, four kills, and 17 digs, while Kaylynn Pidcoe added eight points and four digs.
Kendall Kitchen had six points, one assist, and 21 digs, as Vayda Bryan notched seven points, and five digs.
Makenna Seachrist had four points, and a kill, while Cailyn VanNoy had two points, a kill, and eight digs.
Canton lost the JV match 25-12 and 25-9.
Alyssa May had two aces, one dig, and two kills with Danah Wesneski getting three aces and six digs.
Nevaeh Vroman had three digs with an assist, Abby Marbaker notched a dig with two assists, with Ashley Valera getting four digs, and Lydia Roupp getting an ace.
