The Canton girls swept Towanda and NP-Mansfield in NTL track and field action.
The Warriors beat the Knights 70-52 and the Tigers 73-66. On the boys’ side Canton lost to Towanda (76-67) and NPM (95-44).
For the girls Daveian Crowley (13.5) won the 100 with teammate Laci Niemczyk (14.3) third. Kali Wesneski (6:45) was second in the 1600 with their 4x100 relay winning in 53.7.
Crowley (1:06) led a Warrior sweep of the 400, followed by Kendall Kitchen (1:10.1) and Niemczyk (1:13.2).
Camille McRoberts (2:31.1) won the 800 as Crowley (27.9) won the 200, with Niemczyk (29.5) third. McRoberts (14:37) won the 3200, as well.
In the discus Alexis McRoberts (79-feet, 5-inches) and Kaley Williams (65-feet, 2-inches) were second and third. McRoberts took third in the shot put in 25-feet, 9 1/2-inches.
Kitchen (14-feet, 3 1/2-inches) won the long jump and the pole vault in 7-feet. Sammy Brackman (80-feet, 3-inches) won the javelin
For the boys Lawrence Halbfoerster (5:38.2) was second in the 1600, and won the 800 in 2:27.1. Hunter Brackman was third in 2:32.9.
Hunter Huffman won the 3200 in 14:42.
The Warriors swept the discus with Kyle Kapichok (131-feet, 2-inches), Anthony Asbury (115-feet, 11-inches), and William Colton (108-feet, 11-inches).
Colton (41-feet, 2 1/2-inches) won the shot put with Kapichok (40-feet, 3-inches) third. Kapichok (128-feet, 8-inches) was third in the javelin, too.
