BELLEFONTE — Shaela Kruskie's second 3-pointer of the game, and some timely foul shooting in the fourth quarter helped Selinsgrove hold on for a 30-28 win over Bald Eagle Area on Thursday in nonconference girls basketball.
The Seals (3-9) snapped a seven-game slide with 22 second-half points to overcome a scoreless first quarter.
Murphy O'Brien and Haylee Nava each scored five points in the third. O'Brien finished with nine, and Nava eight.
O'Brien and Kristin Shaffer each made a pair of free throws in the fourth quarter for the Seals. They combined to sink three of their final four shots from the line.
