Canton dropped a hard fought 5-set match to Towanda, 3-2, in their volleyball opener.
Towanda took the first set 25-19 but Canton won the next two 25-18 and 25-14.
The Knights rallied for the fourth set win, 25-21, then edged out a 15-13 final set victory.
Chelsea Lehman had 16 points, five kills, five aces, 10 assists, nine digs, and two blocks, as Kendall Kitchen finished with 20 points, three aces, and 12 digs.
Makenna Seachrist notched 17 points, seven kills, two aces, and an assist, while Tara Gilbert had 12 points, nine kills, five aces, one assist, and 14 digs.
Addi Pepper finished with eight points, six kills, an ace, and three digs, Vayda Bryan had 10 points, one kill, 10 assists, and six digs, and Cailyn VanNoy added a kill, an assist, two blocks, and a dig.
